Parties
Have your next birthday party or celebration at Glenroy Bowls Club. Our bar area is ideal for groups between 20-150 people, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available.
FAQ
How much does it cost to hire?
Our venue is unique, with multiple areas or exclusive hire available. Prices are outlined below:
Sports Bar/Bowlers Lounge - $100/$200 (free when venue is open as it is a shared space)
Bowlers Lounge hire for Wakes - $100.00
Outdoor BBQ Hire - $30.00
Sportsbar/Bowlers lounge is not available to hire exclusively on bowl days, but functions are more than welcome and guests are still free to use the entire facility. A designated space will be set aside for your function. Bowls day are usually Saturdays between mid-October to early March.
Do I need security for my event?
Security requirements are determined at the club's discretion and will vary based on the number of guests and the type of function.
Can I inspect the venue?
Sure. Please visit during opening hours and see our friendly bar staff, who will be more than willing to give you a tour and discuss your event.
How do I book?
Our event coordinator will provide you with our booking document. Once the form is filled out, returned and the deposit paid your event will be secured. To find out more submit a query through the online form below.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A deposit of $200 is required to confirm your event. Once you submit your details via the submission form our event coordinator will contact you to help plan your event. Once everything is locked in, event booking form filled out, banking details will be provided for the deposit.
Do I have to clean up?
You may choose to leave the venue in the state it was handed over to you, or have our cleaners take care of the work for a small fee.
What time does my event have to end?
Events on Friday and Saturday night will have last drinks called at 11:00pm, with all guests expected to leave the premises by 111:30pm.
What are the catering options?
Finger food packages vary from $11.50 per person to $22.00 per person. Food packages are below:

To find out more submit an enquiry via the form below. Unfortunately no outside hot food is permissible. Antipasto/sandwiches/sweets/outside heated up food is fine.
How early can I set up my event?
If you wish to have decorations of any kind they can be set up after 4:00 pm on the day of your event. If you are using external companies to provide balloons, decorations, projector equipment, etc we are able to accept these deliveries up to 24 hours prior to your event.
Do you have screens available?
Yes. There are several screens in our function areas that guests may utilise for their event.
I want to bring a cake to my event
If you choose to bring along a cake we can set up a table for you. There is no “cakeage” charge applicable. If you are using an external bakery to provide your cake you are able to have them deliver your cake directly to us at Glenroy Bowls Club.
