Glenroy Bowls Club is seeking a playing-coach for the 2022-23 season.
Our club has 70+ pennant playing members, including (5) weekend pennant teams and (1) midweek pennant team.
The club has 3 greens, including a tifdwarf, bent and a synthetic.
Reporting to the board, the key objectives of the role include:
Develop and implement coaching programs for our members
Facilitate structured training sessions
Provide both group and individual coaching sessions
Play a key role in our club striving for weekend and midweek pennant success
The successful applicant should have the following skills:
Strong communication and leadership skills
Strong coaching skills, including technical analysis and the ability to develop tailored training and development programs
The ability to be a valuable contributor to our weekend Division 1 side
Remuneration and hours required will be discussed with candidates and will be commensurate with relevant experience, role requirements and ability.
